The second 1004TEU container ship of Zhoushan Changhong International was successfully launched.

On August 9, Changhong International successfully launched the second 1004TEU container ship (CHB063) built for the China International Marine Containers (CIMC) Design Institute and JUNGERHANS. Guests attending the launch ceremony included Changhong President Dai Jiming, CIMC Design Institute Director Hu Ankang, JUNGERHANS President HERM, and DNV GL Zhoushan Station Manager MARSHALL, who all delivered speeches.
In response to the many inconveniences caused by the high temperatures, the project team adjusted the construction plan and arranged the work schedule reasonably. Before the launch, 90% of the engine room piping system was completed and 70% of the interior decoration work was finished.
It is reported that the ship is scheduled to complete sea trials in October and be delivered in November.
