On the morning of October 25, 2017, accompanied by the sound of firecrackers, the first 1004TEU container ship (CHB062) built by Zhoushan Changhong International for China International Marine Containers (CIMC) and Germany's JUNGERHANS company slowly departed from the company's No. 1 outfitting dock under the tow of a tugboat, successfully starting its trial voyage.
As a key product for Changhong International to accelerate transformation and upgrading, enhance shipbuilding levels, and further explore the international ship market, the 1004TEU container ship received high attention from the company's leadership and all employees during the production process. All departments of the company closely focused on the production plan for this ship, scientifically organized production, strictly executed plans and quality construction standards, strengthened production precision control, enhanced coordination and cooperation between departments, improved communication with shipowners and classification societies, and actively promoted production progress.
