The third 1004TEU container ship of Changhong International (CHB064) has been named and delivered.

On the afternoon of May 23, Zhoushan Changhong International held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the third 1004TEU container ship (CHB064) built for China International Marine Containers (CIMC) Design Research Institute and Germany's Jungerhans Company.

The named vessel 'Emerald' is equipped with various advanced devices and functions, relying on new patents and an innovative cargo loading system that allows for the quick and safe loading of various unconventional-sized containers. The ship is also equipped with the latest two-stroke main engine, significantly reducing fuel consumption and lowering transportation costs. The total length of the ship is 153 meters, with a beam of 24.5 meters, a depth of 11.8 meters, a design draft of 7.6 meters, a structural draft of 8 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 13,250 tons, a speed of 18 knots, and is classified by DNV GL.
