Following the commencement of production for two 2700TEU container ships and two 1800TEU container ships in the first half of the year, on the afternoon of July 23, Changhong International Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully started the construction of two 2300TEU container ships for a German shipowner.
The total length of the ship is 172 meters, the width is 32.2 meters, the depth is 16.7 meters, and the designed draft is 9.5 meters, classified by DNV.GL. The first ship is scheduled for delivery by the end of September 2020.
