Changhong International has started construction on the third 2300TEU container ship (CHB2009).

Following the start of construction of two 2300TEU container ships (CHB2007, CHB2008) for a German shipowner at Changhong International at the end of July, another 2300TEU container ship (CHB2009) was ignited and started construction in the Changhong processing workshop on the afternoon of September 6, marking the third ship in this series.

The total length of this series of ships is 172 meters, with a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 16.7 meters, and a designed draft of 9.5 meters, classified by DNV.GL. In the first half of 2019, Changhong had a tight schedule for the start of various types of container ships, with project teams working overtime to ensure delivery. (CHB2009) is the seventh ship that Changhong has started construction on this year.
