Changhong International delivers a 63500DWT bulk carrier to Oman Shipping.

On the afternoon of August 22, Changhong International delivered the first 63,500 DWT bulk carrier to Oman Shipping. The two ships are named Yangtze Brave and Yangtze Angel. The vessels began construction last year, with a total length of 199.9 meters, a depth of 18.5 meters, a width of 32.26 meters, and a draft of 13.3 meters, classified by Lloyd's Register (LR) in the UK. The second ship is scheduled for delivery in early September.
Michael Jorgensen, the acting CEO of Oman Shipping Company, publicly stated that they plan to invest in bulk carriers of this scale to transport gypsum and limestone.
