3Moon22In the morning, as the axis vehicle carried the 'SSFF150single-column semi-submersible deep-sea fish farm 'Strait1’ slowly climbed to the designated position of the 'Ocean Oil278’ semi-submersible barge, marking the successful completion of the connection for this large deep-sea fish farm, which will subsequently be transported to the destination sea area, installed, and delivered to the owner for use.
This fish farm is a joint construction project between Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and Zhoushan Changhong International Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., designed as a single-column, conical bottom structure, with a total height of48.18meters, a maximum diameter of about140meters, a cage height of12meters, and an effective aquaculture water volume of about15ten thousand cubic meters, with a total weight of nearly ten thousand tons (including cement ballast). This connection operation involved334axis vehicles.
This project is Changhong's first construction of such a special project, and it is also the first time that such an ultra-large fish farm has been constructed on a shipyard. Due to the special nature of its structure, in addition to the difficulty of loading the main structure, the installation of the walkway and fishing nets is also extremely complex, and the connection and loading are the key challenges of this project. Since the project officially started in2019year3month, it has lasted for more than a year. The time taken to determine the connection and loading technical plan alone was no less than half a year. Due to key influencing factors such as safety, shipyard load-bearing, connection equipment, connection methods, selection of semi-submersible vessels, dock dredging, and dock mooring, several drafts of technical plans were proposed, and after repeated discussions and verifications, all difficulties were gradually overcome, ultimately forming the plan for this implementation.
