In the golden autumn of October, the earth sings joyfully! On the morning of October 4, Zhoushan Changhong International held a grand naming ceremony for the first 50,000-ton oil chemical ship (CHB5001) of Pro Tanker Company (Puyou Investment Company). 150 employees from Changhong International and Pro Tanker Company witnessed this important moment.

Mr. Li Hongwei, Chairman of Changhong System under Jiangsu New Yangtze River Industrial Group, along with his wife, President Mr. Li Tao and his family, President of Puyou Investment Ms. Liang Yuan, General Manager Mr. Deng Yu, Deputy General Manager Mr. Jia Shuangquan, Manager of Stena Bulk Ms. Jeman Tuya, General Manager of Besh India Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, General Manager of Besh Shanghai Mr. Wang Yan, General Manager of LR Greater China East Region Mr. Zhu Haikun, Director of Ship Business Ms. Chen Wei, and senior leaders of Zhoushan Changhong International were present at the ceremony.

Ms. Liang Yuan, President of Puyou Company, named CHB5001 as 'Golden Sun', wishing her and all crew members safe travels around the world.

'Golden Sun' is approximately 182.95 meters long, 32.2 meters wide, and 19.10 meters deep. It is classified by LR classification society. Changhong International has currently undertaken 5 MR tanker orders from Puyou Company.

Mr. Dai Yayun, Executive Vice President of Changhong International, stated at the naming ceremony that as the first oil tanker built by Changhong International, all parties involved have given high importance to this project, with shipowners, ship inspection, and shipyards all dedicating the best resources. Through day and night efforts and ingenuity, CHB5001 was successfully named, showcasing the excellent technical strength of the Changhong shipbuilding team. He hopes that Changhong International can ride the wave of the booming marine economy and shipbuilding industry, ensuring quality and quantity in delivering every ship, promoting continuous business development, and adding strength to the growth of the New Yangtze River Group.

Ms. Liang Yuan, President of Puyou Company, highly praised the shipbuilding quality of Changhong International and expressed sincere gratitude to all parties who contributed to the construction of the new ship. She wishes that the new ship can brave the winds and waves in future voyages, creating greater value for shipowners and customers.

Mr. Li Tao, President of Changhong System under Jiangsu New Yangtze River Industrial Group, pointed out in his speech that the Changhong International shipbuilding team faced challenges, dared to innovate, and overcame one technical difficulty after another, ensuring that this ship not only meets international standards but also exceeds customer expectations. He hopes to continue seamless connections and mutual support in the future, promoting the continuous advancement and growth of the enterprise.

Subsequently, the guests took photos with the new ship, wishing 'Golden Sun' smooth sailing.

Finally, the guests boarded the new ship for a visit and sounded the horn, feeling the joy of the new ship about to set sail.

The ship is scheduled for delivery on October 8.

At the naming luncheon, Mr. Dai Jiming, President of Changhong International, encouraged everyone to take the opportunity of naming the first oil tanker in the harvest season of October to build good ships, build fast ships, and strive to deliver more first-class vessels, continuing the victory and ensuring brilliance lasts.
