The Dutch semi-submersible vessel 'BOKA Vanguard' has started the modification of its segment ignition.

At 9:58 AM on September 17, accompanied by a strong Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, the ignition of the modification section for the Dutch semi-submersible "BOKA Vanguard" began at the CNC cutting site in the Zhoushan Changhong International Ship Repair hull workshop, marking the official start of the modification project.
Mr. Song Guangle, the on-site construction manager of the shipowner company, Mr. Diao Chengdong, the representative of BV classification society, Mr. Pan Linwei, the general manager of Changhong International Ship Repair, and Mr. Ren Yongzai, the deputy general manager of ship repair, along with other guests attended the opening ceremony.
Boskalis, a Dutch company, is a world-class carrier of ultra-large offshore structures. To meet the project needs of its clients, it plans to modify its semi-submersible "BOKA Vanguard" from a width of 78.75 meters to 90.75 meters by adding a platform approximately 12 meters wide and 50 meters long on each side of the semi-submersible, in order to widen the deck and meet the transportation needs of special structural components.
This modification project adopts offshore engineering standards and involves over 1,400 tons of steel structure.
