At 8:58 AM on July 1, the second 115,000-ton product oil & crude oil tanker CHB3002 of Changhong International was ignited and started work in the processing workshop.

Mr. Veza, manager of the EPS shipowner supervision team, Mr. Pang Maocan, representative of ABS classification society, and Mr. Wang Jiazhen, deputy general manager of Changhong International's new shipbuilding, along with other leaders, attended the ceremony together.

This vessel is a new generation LR2/Aframax oil tanker developed by Changhong International and CIMC Shanghai Institute (CIMC ORIC) based on the latest specifications and rules. It has a total length of 249.9 meters, a length between perpendiculars of 245.5 meters, a width of 44 meters, a depth of 21.5 meters, a structural draft of 15.2 meters, and a maximum deadweight tonnage of 115,000 tons. Since the contract was signed last May, the design team has closely aligned with the shipowner's opinions through various innovative methods such as model reviews and WRIKE system drawing management. Now, the model of the main hull area of the entire ship has been completed, showcasing the design team's efficient collaboration capabilities.
