On May 31 at 9:08 AM, symbolizing completeness and a new beginning, Changhong International signed the delivery of the second 3100 TEU container ship CHB2020 with the well-known Brazilian shipping company LOG-IN, marking the successful conclusion of this project.

This 3100 TEU container ship is not only a guardian of safe ocean navigation but also a practitioner of environmental green concepts. Its design surpasses the third phase EEDI standards, achieving Tier III level control of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, and fully complies with the sulfur oxide (SOx) Annex VI emission regulations. In terms of structural layout, it strictly follows the IACS REC.10 REV.3 standards for anchoring and mooring configurations, and is equipped with advanced facilities such as SCR systems and mobile firefighting equipment, showcasing advanced safety and environmental protection standards. Technically, the ship is also outstanding, with speed, loading capacity, deadweight, fuel efficiency, and noise control meeting or even exceeding design expectations. With its low energy consumption and high efficiency green characteristics, it stands out among similar container ships, particularly excelling in heavy container load capacity, deadweight tonnage, and fuel economy, further consolidating its economic value and competitive advantage in the market. Since the signing of the shipbuilding contract in October 2021, this project, which includes two vessels, has entered a fast track of close cooperation.

As a leader in coastal logistics transportation in Brazil, LOG-IN has a fleet size covering 1700 TEU to 2800 TEU, effectively connecting the northern and southern regions of Brazil, and providing efficient shuttle services to major ports such as Santos, Rio de Janeiro, and Vitória. The addition of CHB2020 will undoubtedly inject stronger momentum into its business landscape.

On the day of delivery, LOG-IN's project manager Fabio, along with his professional team, the supervising unit, representatives from the Norwegian classification society, and senior leaders from Changhong International gathered together to mark a perfect conclusion to their cooperation and to open a new chapter for deeper collaboration in the future.
