On May 20th at 10:38 AM, Changhong International held a grand naming ceremony for the second 3100 TEU container ship CHB2020 built for the famous Brazilian shipowner company LOG-IN.
At the ceremony, drums and music filled the air, with participants including LOG-IN's CEO Marcio Arany, COO Mauricio Trompowsky, project manager Fabio, intermediary representative Luan Xiaojun, Fleet's Deepak representative, DNV GL representative Dai Yueming, as well as Mr. Dai Yayun, Executive Vice President of Changhong International, Mr. Shen Zhihua, General Manager of Shipbuilding, and Deputy General Managers Mr. Wang Jiazhen and Mr. Lin Feng.
Guest Mrs. Ludmila named CHB2020: LOG-IN EXPERIENCE, followed by the traditional champagne bottle breaking ceremony.
The guests took a group photo with the new ship, wishing it to sail smoothly, bring safety to the crew, and wealth and glory to the shipowner and all partners involved.
The LOG-IN EXPERIENCE is expected to be delivered by the end of this month. The 3100 TEU series container ship project is the first collaboration between Changhong International and LOG-IN, representing the dedication and perseverance of the shipbuilding workforce. Since the project commenced, Changhong International's shipbuilding team has made significant advancements in technical design, production planning, operational management, and frontline problem-solving, laying a solid foundation for the construction of other vessels in the future.
During the naming ceremony, the shipowner expressed gratitude for the full support and tireless efforts of Changhong International and all parties involved, highly praising Changhong International's excellent construction model and efficiency, and fully affirming the advanced technology and environmental friendliness of the named vessel.
Mr. Dai Yayun, Executive Vice President of Changhong International, also thanked LOG-IN, Fleet, DNV GL, and other units for their strong support, ensuring the smooth delivery of the vessel. He stated that this project would serve as a perfect conclusion and an opportunity to further deepen cooperation with LOG-IN and all parties involved.
This type of 3100 TEU container ship is a green ship model created by Changhong International, integrating safety, environmental protection, and high efficiency. Its design fully meets the EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index) of the third phase, achieving high standards for nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions under Tier III, and strictly adhering to the regulations of Annex VI for sulfur oxides (SOx) emissions. Additionally, the ship's anchoring and mooring systems fully comply with the latest IACS REC.10 REV.3 standards and are equipped with advanced devices including SCR systems and mobile fire-fighting cannons. Key technical performance indicators such as speed, loading capacity, deadweight capacity, fuel efficiency, and noise control all precisely align with design expectations, showcasing excellent energy-saving and environmental advantages. Compared to similar vessels, this ship has significantly improved in terms of full load capacity, deadweight tonnage, and fuel consumption efficiency, further enhancing its economic benefits and market competitiveness.
On the evening of May 20th, Changhong International held a grand celebration dinner for the guests.
At the dinner, Mr. Lin Feng, Deputy General Manager of Shipbuilding at Changhong International, delivered a welcome speech. He stated that in recent years, Changhong International has focused on the market, comprehensively promoting the enhancement of construction capabilities for medium to large container ships and oil tankers ranging from 5000 TEU to 11500 TEU. All ongoing projects have a solid technical foundation and steady progress, and Changhong International's shipbuilding has initiated a rapid development wave. He hopes that Changhong International will have more opportunities to collaborate with strong partners, continue to deepen development in more fields, and comprehensively improve shipbuilding standards.
Currently, Changhong International has over 50 orders on hand, with a tight delivery schedule for the year. The new brand and advantages of container ship production in batches and rhythmically have been fully established.
In the future, all employees of Changhong International will work together with one heart, striving to seize major production milestones, injecting vigorous vitality into the company's continuous high-quality development.
