On the morning of March 14, Bao Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangyin Municipal Committee and Mayor, Zhang Shaofeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangyin Municipal Committee and Deputy Director of the Lingang Development Zone Management Committee, and other officials visited Changhong for research. Li Hongwei, Chairman of Changhong International, and Dai Jiming, President of the Industrial Park, warmly welcomed them.
Mayor Bao and his delegation successively visited the dock and shipyard of Changhong International, inspected several ongoing constructions of feeder container ships with capacities of 5,300 TEU, 3,100 TEU, and 2,500 TEU, as well as the repair of large container ships and oil tankers, experiencing the vibrant production atmosphere at Changhong International in the first quarter of 2024.
At the symposium, Chairman Li warmly welcomed Mayor Bao and his delegation's visit to Changhong, emphasizing that the good development of Changhong International relies on government support. The care and guidance from leaders at all levels in Jiangyin City over the years have greatly encouraged the people of Changhong, strengthening their determination to grow and develop.
Mayor Bao fully affirmed the development momentum and business philosophy of Changhong International. He stated that after years of courageous progress, Changhong International has achieved a dual leap in both quality and quantity in shipbuilding, with a development momentum that is impressive and inspiring. He hopes that Changhong will continue to play a key role in connecting upstream and downstream in the market, focusing on customers, and promoting a good industrial ecosystem. The Jiangyin Municipal Committee and Municipal Government will also provide strong support and act as a considerate 'shop assistant' to help Changhong reach new heights.
