The first 50,000-ton oil tanker chemical ship CHB5001 has successfully been launched on the slipway.

On February 28 at 10:58, the first ship (CHB5001) of the 50,000-ton oil tanker chemical ship built by Zhoushan Changhong International for the shipowner Pro Tanker held a keel-laying ceremony at Changhong's Zengzhou shipyard. Subsequent cargo hold special coating construction and other installation and debugging work will also be carried out gradually.
The ship has a total length of approximately 182.95 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 19.10 meters, and is classified by LR classification society. The ship type adopts a stern engine design, single fixed pitch propeller diesel drive, meeting the requirements for navigation in unlimited sea areas, equipped with energy-saving devices, using seawater cooling pumps and fan variable frequency energy-saving technology, and both the main engine and generator use SCR technology, which can further reduce fuel consumption, making it a new generation of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly MR oil tanker.
At the ceremony, Qian Bin, the technical manager of Pro Tanker, the supervision team, LR classification society, and relevant leaders from Changhong International took a group photo together.
