This ship type consists of 10 vessels, with a total length of approximately 237.8 meters, a width of 38.8 meters, and a depth of 21.8 meters, classified by DNV GL. The design concept of this ship type overturns the traditional narrow design of container ships, optimizing the hull shape with a wide-body concept, equipped with optimized low-power main engines, low fuel consumption, and an EEDI energy consumption index more than 30% below the baseline index. It features a 2.5-layer lashing bridge and can carry 3845 14T containers, which is 145-345 more container slots than other designs of the same type. It is equipped with a low-sulfur oil system, AMP, SCR, and BWMS, making it environmentally friendly and compliant with the latest regulations.

In addition to the 9 5300 TEU container ships under construction, Changhong International also holds a construction contract for 4+2 units of 115,000-ton tankers with Navios. The cooperation between the two parties is becoming increasingly close, continuously creating new development opportunities.
