On the afternoon of January 5, Deputy Director Huang Weijian of the Industrial Department of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission,Level 4 ResearcherWang Xinhua, Director of the Industrial Institute of the Provincial Development Planning Research Institute, and Senior Engineer Tong Xiangjuan visited Changhong International for research and investigation. They were accompanied by Yu Wenmiao, Deputy Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Teng Chenyu, Director of the Industrial Department of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Wang Jiazhen, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Shipbuilding at Changhong International.
Huang Weijian and his team first inspected and visited the docks and shipyards of Changhong International, observing the construction of several feeder container ships with capacities of 2500 TEU, 3100 TEU, and 5300 TEU, as well as the repair of large container ships and oil tankers. They experienced the new look of the factory area and felt the vibrant production atmosphere of the new year.
General Manager Wang Jiazhen provided a detailed introduction to Changhong's production and operation in 2023 and the development plan for 2024, as well as the rust removal process for repairing large ships and the achievements in related technological fields. Mr. Wang stated that the good development of Changhong International cannot be separated from government support, especially the recent emphasis by the provincial party committee and government on the shipbuilding industry, which has greatly encouraged us and strengthened our determination to grow and develop.
Huang Weijian fully affirmed the development momentum and business philosophy of Changhong International. He stated that the marine economy related to the shipbuilding industry is the core of Zhoushan's development. As a leading local enterprise, Changhong International should play a good role in industry demonstration and guidance, accelerate innovation in the technological field, and effectively promote the robust development of the province's high-end shipbuilding industry.
