On the afternoon of January 3, the annual networking meeting of the ship repair system and classification societies, hosted by Changhong International, was held in the conference hall of Fortune Hotel. Pan Linwei, General Manager of Changhong International Ship Repair, Ren Yong, Deputy General Manager of Ship Repair, company leader Ma Weidong, heads of various departments of the ship repair system, workshop directors, and leaders from multiple classification societies such as DNV and LR attended the seminar. The meeting was hosted by Qiu Zujian, head of the ship repair quality department.

At the seminar, everyone learned in detail about Changhong's achievements in product, operation, management, and technology over the years through the corporate promotional video. Subsequently, General Manager Pan Linwei delivered a welcome speech for this networking meeting.

He first expressed gratitude to the major classification societies for providing inspection services and technical support for Changhong's ship repair projects. In the subsequent speech, Deputy General Manager Ren Yong introduced the current operating situation, product structure, and customer structure of the company, reviewed the achievements of 2023, and looked forward to the blueprint for 2024. In 2023, the product structure of Changhong International's headquarters in ship repair changed significantly, with a notable increase in the proportion of tankers. Following the concept of 'building core customers' from 2022, the customer structure also achieved impressive results in 2023.

Leaders from major classification societies put forward effective improvement suggestions regarding the current production and operation situation of Changhong International, stating that they will continue to provide high-quality and efficient interpretation of standards and regulations for Changhong, and timely provide solutions to difficult problems, promoting Changhong to enhance its technical capabilities and economic benefits, and drive mutual development.

In the second half of the meeting, both parties held a seminar on dual-fuel retrofitting. Wu Jianqiang, head of the ship repair technology department of Changhong International, delivered a special exchange speech on the 'Changhong Dual-Fuel Retrofitting Plan', and leaders from classification societies provided comments and discussions. The atmosphere on site was lively.

In 2023, thanks to the trust and support of a wide range of shipowners and classification societies, the ship repair system made significant progress in production construction, technological research and development, infrastructure upgrades, personnel training, capacity, and efficiency.
