The Singapore Sea Consortium expressed high recognition of Changhong's speed and quality in shipbuilding and thanked all parties involved in the construction of the new vessel. In 2021, the company signed a shipbuilding contract for five 3100TEU container ships with Changhong. Over the past three years, the two parties have deepened their cooperation and signed an LR2 tanker construction order on May 13 of this year.

For both companies, this is the first LR2 tanker project, which is of great significance.
