On October 26, a delegation led by Yoon Jong-hyun, the head of Samsung Heavy Industries Shipyard and CSO, visited Zhoushan CIMC Changhong. Zhu Guiming, the general manager of CIMC Changhong, and deputy general manager Huang Wei warmly welcomed them.
Yoon Jong-hyun and his delegation visited the Jiangnan Mountain plant area of CIMC Changhong, highly praising the vigorous production situation in the steel structure workshop and the complete equipment facilities. They also expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the ongoing sections at CIMC Changhong and congratulated them on the recently delivered GIGA section of SEASPAN 15000TEU.
During the seminar, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation directions and specific business scopes, further exchanging ideas on how to fully utilize the long coating plant area of CIMC Changhong for complete shipbuilding and offshore engineering project module loading.
Zhu Guiming stated that based on the long-term good cooperation model established with Samsung Heavy Industries, the development prospects for both parties are increasingly broad. Changhong will focus on production and refine projects to create a more stable partnership and achieve mutual benefits.
Mr. Yoon Jong-hyun expressed his full support for all projects constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries at CIMC Changhong, promoting the high-quality and efficient delivery of products, and actively facilitating multiple collaborations between the two parties in the new shipbuilding and offshore engineering fields.
