The construction of the 2500TEU container ship (CHB080) has commenced.
At 10:58 AM on November 25, Zhoushan Changhong International forSHANGJING LOGISTICS CO.,LTDthe third 2,500 TEU container ship (hull number: CHB080) was ignited and started in the cutting workshop.
This type of ship was developed and designed by the China International Marine Containers (CIMC) Design and Research Institute. The ship has a total length of 171.95 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 16.7 meters, and a designed speed of 18 knots, classified by Lloyd's Register of Shipping. A total of 6 ships in this series are planned, with the first two ships starting construction on August 25 and September 25, respectively.
5000m³ gas carrier (S1053) trial voyage, (S1055) launched.
At 11:58 AM on November 25, Zhoushan Changhong International Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. launched the trial voyage of the first 5000m³ LPG ship (S1053) built for Nantong CIMC Pacific Offshore (CIMC SOE).
At 8 AM, the third 5000 m³ LPG transport ship (S1055) was launched at No. 1 shipyard.
There are 3 ships in the 5000 m³ LPG transport series, owned by Hartmann Shipping, which was founded in 1981 and owns more than 150 vessels, making it one of the world's leading shipping groups. It has a diversified fleet, including gas carriers, product carriers, bulk carriers, container ships, multipurpose vessels, and pneumatic cement carriers.
Currently, the production site of Changhong International is bustling with activity, with various departments orderly advancing the construction tasks of various types of container ships and multiple types of liquefied gas ships.
