On the morning of November 4, 2016, the Zhoushan branch of the electronic reading room in Zhejiang Province officially launched at Changhong International. In response to the Ministry of Culture's requirement to further strengthen the social construction of electronic reading rooms, the Zhejiang Provincial Center for Cultural Information Resource Sharing (Zhejiang Library) will rely on the national cultural information resource sharing project, the collection of Zhejiang Library, and the experience of building public electronic reading rooms to actively cooperate with development zone associations and various local development zones. Zhoushan Changhong International is also one of the pilot projects. The reading room is equipped according to the requirements of the provincial library, achieving benefits in social, cultural, and economic aspects, contributing to the advocacy of 'national reading' and the co-construction of a 'book fragrance society.' The establishment of the public electronic reading room demonstration point is not only about the co-construction and sharing of resources but also an extension of the public cultural service system into society. Its launch not only solves the internet access issues for surrounding villagers and migrant workers but also provides the general public with a civilized, healthy, safe, and beneficial public internet service.
