Zhoushan Changhong International Ship Recycling Co., Ltd. is a company specialized in the green dismantling of old ships both domestically and internationally. Since its production began in 2012, it has achieved significant development. Based on the current overall situation of the ship market and considering the scale and prospects of the company's development, the recycling company officially submitted an application for domestic consignee registration to the Zhoushan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau at the end of May 2014, along with the required application materials.
On June 17, the review team from the Electromechanical Department of the Zhoushan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau conducted a review of the recycling company. Company leaders Zhang Jian, Huang Guoqing, and others accompanied the team, and various departments of the company actively supported and cooperated with the expert group's on-site review work.
The review was mainly divided into written review and on-site review. The team leader organized a meeting to introduce the scope, purpose, basis, and plan, methods, and procedures of the assessment to the participants. The meeting also covered the resources and facilities required by the review team, as well as confidentiality commitments. According to the review requirements in the 'On-site Review Record for Domestic Consignee Registration of Imported Solid Waste Available as Raw Materials,' the expert group checked each item in the form, verifying the requirements through questioning, data investigation, and on-site validation of departments such as the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, Administration Department, Business Department, and External Liaison Department, collecting objective review evidence.
The team leader held a summary meeting to explain the issues found during the review process to the relevant departments of the company. He emphasized that the entire company should pay close attention to the operation and maintenance of the domestic consignee management system in subsequent daily work and clarified the follow-up verification time and methods for these issues. Finally, the team leader announced the review results, stating that Zhoushan Changhong International Ship Recycling Company successfully passed the domestic consignee registration review.
