On July 9, a group of over 30 teachers and students from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands visited Changhong International Industrial Park for a study tour. Relevant staff from the industrial park accompanied them throughout the visit and held a discussion meeting.
The members of this visiting group mainly come from the maritime engineering, mechanical engineering, and other related majors at the university. Their main purpose for this trip is to understand the development of relevant industrial fields in the country and the operational development of well-known Chinese shipbuilding companies, while also inspecting the construction scale of Changhong International and hoping to communicate with technical personnel.
On that day, the visiting group toured the ship repair, shipbuilding, and the dismantling site of the second phase of recycling, as well as the sewage treatment plant at Changhong International. They experienced the overall factory appearance and production atmosphere of the company. After listening to the explanations, everyone expressed strong interest and recognition of Changhong International's business philosophy, advanced production technology, and the good momentum of rapid development in recent years, and they took group photos in front of the iconic buildings.
Subsequently, the visiting group held a discussion meeting in the first-floor conference room to share their insights from the visit. At the meeting, company leader Yan Zhiping introduced that Changhong International, as an emerging shipbuilding enterprise, has an internationally leading scale, and the recycling company is the largest ship dismantling yard in the world. The visiting group gradually gained a comprehensive understanding of Changhong and provided many constructive suggestions and improvement methods for the future of Changhong International, to which the company leaders expressed heartfelt thanks. Finally, both sides exchanged gifts, concluding the day's itinerary in a pleasant atmosphere.
It is believed that Changhong International will continue to advance in the field of technological innovation in the future, becoming more pragmatic, which will validate General Secretary Xi's statement: difficulties will pass, and everything will be fine.
