On March 3, the Secretary of the China Classification Society, Gao Jianguang, and his delegation visited Zhoushan Changhong International to inspect and guide the work, giving high praise and recognition to the company's ship repair, construction, dismantling, and management. The president of the industrial park, Dai Jiming, and relevant department heads accompanied them.
During the research, our president Dai Jiming first expressed sincere welcome to the leaders of the China Classification Society for their visit and heartfelt thanks for the long-term technical support and assurance provided by the China Classification Society and the Zhoushan branch. While watching the Changhong promotional video, President Dai also introduced the historical evolution and organizational structure of Changhong International and the New Yangtze Group, especially the new measures taken by Changhong to seek development amid the unfavorable market conditions in the past two years. The leaders of the China Classification Society praised the high-quality development of the New Yangtze Group, a village-run enterprise with decades of history, and encouraged Changhong International for its fighting spirit in seizing market opportunities against the current trend. Secretary Gao Jianguang not only introduced the steady development of the China Classification Society in recent years in terms of the tonnage of inspected vessels, improvement of ship inspection technology, and service capabilities, but also expressed that although the shipping industry is currently in a downturn, the China Classification Society hopes to deepen business cooperation and communication with Changhong and will continue to provide the necessary assistance to Changhong, believing that Changhong International can overcome the shipping crisis and achieve broader development prospects.
After the meeting, Secretary Gao Jianguang also kindly visited and communicated with the employees of the China Classification Society stationed at Changhong.
