On November 12 at 9:18 AM, Changhong International held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second and third 115,000-ton product oil tankers (CHB3012, CHB3013) built for the Greek shipowner NAVIOS MARITIME PARTNERS L.P. in the flat section joint workshop. Representatives from the shipowner, on-site office, ship inspection, company leaders, and relevant department representatives attended the ceremony to witness the start of the shipbuilding. Mr. Antonatos Nikolaos and Mr. Dimitrios Mavridis, representatives of NAVIOS, pressed the 'ignition' button together, marking the official start of the construction of these two vessels.

Subsequently, Mr. Andreas Makroglou, manager of the ADK on-site office, Mr. Pang Maochan from ABS, and Mr. Liu Ming, assistant general manager of the shipbuilding company, signed the commencement certificate on behalf of the three parties.

This series of ship types is a new generation of LR2/Aframax deep well pump oil tankers developed based on the latest specifications and rules, with a total length of approximately 249.9 meters, a width of 44 meters, and a depth of 21.5 meters. The vessels are classified by ABS. In addition to conventional fuel oil, they can also be converted to use clean energy such as methanol and LNG in the future. Moreover, the reserved medium-voltage shore power provides favorable conditions for shipowners to connect to the medium-voltage shore power system, effectively reducing air pollution such as carbon and sulfur generated by auxiliary generators during the ship's port stay. HVSC is increasingly adopted by shipowners as the most effective environmental protection solution. Additionally, the ship is equipped with advanced single-hull single-pump hydraulic-driven deep well pumps (Framo), increasing the diversity of cargo and providing more operational value.
