The Greek shipowner's second 50,000-ton MR product tanker CHB5004 has started construction.

On November 15 at 9:18 AM, accompanied by the sound of fireworks, the second 50,000-ton MR-type product oil tanker CHB5004, built by Changhong International for the Greek shipowner Laskaridis, was ignited and commenced construction in the processing smart workshop. This is also the fourth 50,000-ton MR-type tanker that Changhong International has started to build.
The MR-type tanker is one of the main types of liquid cargo ships in the market, with broad application prospects. This 50,000-ton series tanker has a total length of approximately 182.95 meters, a width of 32.2 meters, and a depth of 19.10 meters, meeting the standards of the LR classification society. It uses a stern rudder design and is powered by a single fixed-pitch propeller diesel engine, meeting the requirements for navigation in unlimited sea areas, with a designed speed of 14.5 knots.
