At 10:18 on January 13, 2025, Changhong International held a naming and delivery ceremony for the second 50,000-ton MR Tanker CHB5002 invested by Puyou.
Mr. Deng Yu, General Manager of Pu You Investment, Mr. Jia Shuangquan, Deputy General Manager of Pu You Investment, Mr. Erwin Matin, SGP Operations Manager of STENA BULK, Mr. Sankalp Shukla, Managing Director of BSM India and Mr. Shu Hua, Deputy Managing Director of BSM Shanghai, Ms. Chen Wei, Managing Director of LR Classification Society East Region, Mr. Shen Baisheng, General Manager of Good Luck Shipping Limited, ARROW SGP Mr. Ying Jun, Captain of the ship Mr. SHAVUPERUMAL TAMILALAGAN, Chief Engineer Mr. Huang Minfan, LR Zhoushan Station Manager Mr. Qiu Zhaozhou, SMC Operations manager Mr. Shen Baisong, General Manager of Changhong International Shipbuilding Mr. Shen Zhihua, Chief Engineer of shipbuilding Mr. Wang Keizai and other relevant leaders attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Ms. Liang Yuan, President of Puyou Investment, named the new ship CHB5002 "SILVER MOON" through the online platform, wishing her and the crew a smooth journey around the world and a safe return. Subsequently, Mr. Deng Yu, General manager of Puyou Investment, cut the cable for the new ship.
In his speech, Mr. Shen Zhihua sincerely wished the new ship CHB5002 a smooth and safe voyage in the future. He said that Changhong International will continue to uphold the concept of high-quality ship manufacturing and is committed to contributing to the development of Puyou Investment and New Yangtze River Group.
At the end of the ceremony, the guests toasted together and took a group photo. On behalf of Changhong International, Mr. Shen Zhihua sent New Year wishes to every guest and staff present.
The SILVER MOON will set sail on January 14.
