On December 5th at 10:58, the first 50,000-ton oil tanker chemical ship CHB5003 built by Changhong International for Greek shipowner Laskaridis held its launching ceremony at Dock No. 1, marking the official transition of the ship to the outfitting stage.

This ship type is equipped with a propeller energy-saving device, uses seawater cooling pumps, and employs variable frequency energy-saving technology for fans. The main engine and generator use SCR technology, which can further reduce fuel consumption and meet the requirements of the latest effective regulations, as well as comply with the EEDI Phase III requirements. It features a new type of washing water system, including a fixed high-efficiency washing machine and a washing water collection tank, providing shipowners with a convenient method for handling washing water in restricted areas. The cargo oil system adopts a flexible and efficient loading design, achieving one pump per compartment, allowing for the simultaneous loading of seven types of cargo, which include IMO Class 2, Class 3 chemicals, or refined oil.
