On January 25 at 9:08 AM, the second 5300 TEU container ship CHB2011 built by Zhoushan Changhong International for the Greek shipowner NAVIOS MARITIME PARTNERS L.P. completed the online signing and delivery via video. Mr. Dai Yayun, Executive Vice President of Changhong, Mr. Georgios Panagakis representing NAVIOS, and Ms. Psarrou Marianna representing KFW Bank signed the delivery documents offline in Zhoushan and Greece respectively.

Mr. Serafeim Sgourdas and Mr. Dimitrios Mavridis representing NAVIOS, Mr. Guan Shengyu, Senior Surveyor from DNV, Project Manager, Mr. Tanase Iordache, representative from the ADK site office, Mr. Shen Zhihua, General Manager of the shipbuilding company, Mr. Lin Feng, Deputy General Manager, the captain and chief engineer of the vessel, MB Shipbrokers, and relevant company leaders witnessed the ship delivery both online and offline.

The ship has a total length of approximately 237.8 meters, a beam of 38.8 meters, and a depth of 21.8 meters, and is classified by DNV. The design concept of the ship type overturns the traditional long and narrow design of container ships, optimizing the hull shape with a wide-body concept. The main dimensions are much smaller than current ships with the same container capacity, while the stability is far superior to traditional container ships, significantly reducing the ballast water requirements compared to similar ships on the market, thus saving costs.
