The 2500 TEU container ship 'Zhonggu Guangzhou' has been completed and delivered.

On the morning of December 16, Zhoushan Changhong International signed and delivered the 2500TEU container ship "Zhonggu Guangzhou" built for Shanghai Zhonggu Logistics. The ship has a total length of 179.90m, a length between perpendiculars of 176.85m, a beam of 32.18m, a depth of 16.00m, and a designed draft of 9.50m, making it the first container ship built by Changhong International.
The ceremony was hosted by Ma Weidong, Deputy General Manager of Changhong International. Executive Deputy General Manager Li Jijun and Deputy General Manager of Zhonggu Logistics Ship Management Center Cui Lianjun delivered speeches. Li Jijun first warmly welcomed all the guests on behalf of Changhong International, expressed gratitude to the colleagues who selflessly contributed and performed excellently for this project, and wished "Zhonggu Guangzhou" smooth sailing and full loads in its future operations. In his speech, Cui Lianjun from Zhonggu Logistics stated that the construction of this ship marks the first cooperation between Shanghai Zhonggu Logistics and Changhong International on new shipbuilding projects, and the shipbuilders at Changhong ensured the successful completion of the ship with their sweat and wisdom. Its delivery opens a new chapter in the cooperation between the two parties, and it is hoped that this will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation.
Since receiving the order in March 2016, the ship was launched on May 28, launched on October 15, and trial sailed on November 28... Facing the eager gaze of the shipowner, the shipbuilders at Changhong overcame tremendous hardships, demonstrating a spirit of proactive development and commitment. During the project advancement, the project team strengthened communication with the shipowner and ship inspection, discussing solutions in advance for many issues such as the corrosion of the main engine pipeline and omissions in the drawings that existed during the construction at Wuzhou, and promptly addressing the opinions raised by the shipowner and ship inspection on-site. Ultimately, the goal of on-time delivery was achieved.
