624th of the monthIn the evening, the British oil tanker 'Poseidon' successfully entered the dock for maintenance. The ship docked at the wharf at the beginning of the month, and the company's ship repair department made preparations in advance, starting the construction deployment for the 'Poseidon'.It is the second VLCC undertaken by Changhong Ship Repair after last year's 'Jiawei'.The ship is 332 meters long and 58 meters wide, part of a series of vessels from NORTHERN MARINE MANAGEMENT LIMITED (British Northern Shipping). After a year, the company's vessel returned to Changhong for repairs, fully reflecting the owner's recognition of Changhong Ship Repair.
In order to successfully complete the repair task for this vessel and ensure it is delivered on time and with quality, the ship repair department conducted systematic quality planning at the beginning of the project based on the special characteristics of VLCCs.The department heads provided preliminary project briefings to the line management personnel.Particularly for key projects such as replacing the oil-water separator in the engine room, deck pipe pumping pressure, and replacements, careful review of the drawings was conducted.
The dry dock period for this vessel is expected to be ten days, with departure from the dock at the beginning of July.
