Changhong International has signed classification contracts with Lloyd's Register for multiple 115,000-ton oil tankers and 19,000 TEU dual-fuel container ships.

On August 28, Zhoushan Changhong International Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. officially signed a classification service contract with Lloyd's Register for 4 units of 115,000-ton LR2 oil tankers and 4 units of 19,000-cubic-meter LNG dual-fuel container ships.

These two types of vessels are newly developed by Changhong International in collaboration with CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., featuring innovative designs, advanced technology, and strong adaptability to shipping routes, marking Changhong International's continuous new developments in the field of green and intelligent shipbuilding.

The signing of this contract is a continuation of the deep friendship between Lloyd's Register and Changhong International since their cooperation began in 2014, demonstrating Lloyd's Register's strategic support for Changhong International's ongoing development in the shipbuilding sector.

After the signing, Lloyd's Register's order book with Changhong International reached 24 vessels.
