On December 20 at 9:18 AM, the 7th 2500 TEU container ship CHB2021 built by Changhong International for Shangjing Logistics was officially signed and delivered, 70 days ahead of the contract deadline, once again demonstrating the speed of Changhong shipbuilding!

After the successful trial voyage on December 5, the project team devoted themselves to sorting out the shipowner's and ship inspection's trial voyage feedback and remaining project work, ensuring that every piece of feedback was detailed to individuals and closed in a timely manner. Additionally, considering the variable winter weather, the project team reasonably arranged the construction schedule and adjusted the inspection items as needed.

Ultimately, the ship was delivered ahead of schedule with strong support from the shipowner and ship inspection.

The 2500 TEU ship was developed and designed by CIMC Design and Research Institute (CIMC ORIC) and is a new generation of the 'largest Bangkok' container ship. Compared to traditional Bangkok-type container ships, this design can stack 2 more rows of containers, featuring large carrying capacity, more container slots, low fuel consumption, and energy-saving environmental protection characteristics; it adopts a large opening, narrow side cargo hold, and multi-layer step settings; it underwent ship performance testing and verification in the HSVA water tank in Germany, demonstrating excellent hydrodynamic performance, with EEDI meeting Phase III requirements, approximately 36% below the reference line; equipped with an SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction), it meets TIER III emission standards and PHASE 3 energy-saving standards, reducing nitrogen oxide emissions and capable of navigating in any port and emission control areas worldwide.

This type of ship has a total of 8 units, with a total length of 171.95 meters, a width of 32.2 meters, a depth of 16.7 meters, a design speed of 18 knots, and is classified by LR classification society.
