On December 14 at 15:08, the 300T gantry crane, which is 75 meters high, spans 74.5 meters, and weighs 1150 tons, completed a 418-meter translation and a 90-degree rotation, accurately landing on the track. This marks the successful completion of the overall relocation project for the 300T and 50T gantry cranes.
With the expansion of the company's repair and manufacturing business, it is necessary to relocate the 300T and 50T gantry cranes to a new production site. The asset department used SPMT modular vehicles for the overall relocation of the gantry cranes.
With close cooperation from various departments, the production of the relocation tower was completed on December 5, preparation work was finished on the 10th, the relocation started on the 11th, and the two gantry cranes were successfully moved to the new site on the 14th.
The SPMT modular vehicle relocation can significantly save costs and reduce the construction period from 90 days to 10 days, greatly minimizing the impact on production efficiency and avoiding hardware damage to the gantry cranes caused by disassembly and reassembly.
