The second 3100 TEU container ship of the Brazilian shipowner is on the slipway.

At 1:28 PM on August 12, Changhong International successfully launched the second 3100TEU container ship (CHB2020) built for the Brazilian shipowner Log-in Company.
The project signed the shipbuilding contract in October 2021. The shipowner Log-In is a company mainly engaged in coastal cargo transportation services in Brazil, with a fleet primarily consisting of 1700TEU to 2800TEU vessels, mainly providing regular routes in southern and northern Brazil, as well as shuttle services connecting ports such as Santos, Rio de Janeiro, and Vitória.
This type of ship is a safe and environmentally friendly green vessel, with an EEDI index that meets the requirements of Phase 3, compliance with Tier III requirements for nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions, and sulfur oxides (SOx) emissions that meet the requirements of Annex VI. The anchoring and mooring arrangements comply with IACS REC.10 REV.3 standards. In addition, the ship is equipped with special equipment such as SCR and mobile fire monitors; all technical indicators (speed, container capacity, deadweight, fuel consumption, noise, etc.) meet design requirements, featuring low consumption, energy-saving, and environmental protection. More importantly, this ship's loaded container count, deadweight tonnage, and fuel consumption are all better than similar vessels, thereby improving the economic efficiency and competitiveness of the ship type.
At the keel-laying ceremony, COO Mauricio Trompowsky of LOG-IN, project manager Fabio, the supervising company and its supervision team, the Norwegian classification society, and relevant leaders from Changhong International took a group photo together.
After the launching ceremony, the ship officially entered the assembly and consolidation phase on the shipyard. Related installation and debugging work is also progressing steadily.
