On the afternoon of August 11, Chen Hanjie, the vice mayor of Jiangyin City, along with Shi Ping, the director of the Commerce Bureau, Zhang Jinbao, the director of the Maritime Bureau, and others visited Changhong International in Zhoushan for inspection and research. Changhong International's president, Dai Jiming, warmly received them.
Chen Hanjie and his team inspected the docks and shipyards of Changhong International, viewed several 5300TEU and 3100TEU feeder container ships under construction, and large container ships under repair. They gained an in-depth understanding of the progress of Changhong's ongoing projects, experienced the new look of the factory area, and felt the vibrant production atmosphere of summer.
At the symposium, Dai Jiming provided a detailed introduction to Chen Hanjie regarding the current production and operation status of Changhong and its future development plans. He also shared opinions on the practical issues faced by Changhong's development in light of its actual situation.
Chen Hanjie stated that with the investment of China International Marine Containers (CIMC) in Changhong, the two hundred billion-level groups are joining hands, achieving a dual leap in quality and quantity in shipbuilding and repair, with a development momentum that is impressive and inspiring. Changhong International is making strides in a vast arena, and the Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee and government will surely provide strong support from behind, acting as a considerate 'shop assistant' and 'gold medal nanny' to help Changhong create new brilliance.
