This is also the first ship of Changhong's trial voyage this year.
The ship6Month22was launched on the day, with a total trial period of63days, setting the fastest record since the establishment of Changhong. After several months of extreme heat and the global outbreak of COVID-19, the construction of this ship was particularly challenging. With strong support from the company's leadership, the project management team planned ahead, innovated work methods, actively coordinated various resources, and strengthened communication with shipowners and classification societies, overcoming the delays in equipment delivery caused by the pandemic, successfully achieving the established trial voyage goals. Currently, the project team is organizing and sorting out the trial voyage feedback and implementing the remaining work as planned, making every effort to ensure the ship is delivered on time with quality and quantity.
2500TEUThe project totals8ships, designed and developed by the China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. Design and Research Institute, and classified by Lloyd's Register of Shipping. The total length of the ship is171.95meters, the beam is32.2meters, the depth is16.7meters, and the design speed is18knots.
