On July 27 at 11:33, Changhong International delivered its first 1800TEU container ship (CHB2001). Due to the impact of the pandemic, the delivery was conducted via video.
The 1800TEU container ship was built for Malaysian shipowner MTT Shipping, with a total length of 172 meters, a beam of 28.4 meters, and a depth of 14.2 meters. It has a total of 5 cargo holds and is classified by DNV GL. The design fully meets the current trends in energy conservation and emission reduction, effectively reducing fuel consumption and increasing speed.
In the context of a booming global container ship market, delivering ships on time and with quality is essential for gaining the trust of shipowners. This ship is the fifth vessel delivered by Changhong in 2021, and this series of ships will be delivered successively in the near future.
