The Zhoushan Changhong International Ship Recycling Project has successfully passed the external audit of Shell's HSE management system.

From September 26 to 27, a five-member audit team from Shell's HSE department conducted an external audit of the HSE management system of Zhoushan Changhong International Ship Recycling Company. The main purpose was to verify the planning, establishment, and operation of the company's organizational system, and to validate whether the organizational management system meets certification standards and is effectively operated. This was the first external audit from shipowners since the recycling company obtained the three major management system certificates on January 6, 2013, and it was also the first formal business audit since the cooperation with Shell began.
After two days of HSE management system auditing, the expert group unanimously agreed that our company's management system operates effectively and highly praised the company's top-down efforts. At the same time, the audit team also raised higher requirements for the collection and organization of various materials, pointing out that the enterprise should further enhance its positioning and consider international business factors in the process of organizing and compiling relevant company materials. The company's general manager, Zhang Jian, welcomed Shell's suggestions and promised that the enterprise would actively invest human and material resources in this area to quickly align management materials with international standards.
The operation of the management system received high praise from the review team, reflecting the efforts made by various functional departments of the company in effectively implementing the HSE management system.
