After the opening of the Zhoushan Changhong International Port, related businesses will also be developed to promote the healthy and legal development of enterprises. The external cooperation center of the industrial park invited personnel from customs and border inspection departments to hold training on border inspection and customs knowledge related to the port on November 10. A total of 50 people, including company leaders and relevant departments such as the safety and environmental protection department, asset department, and finance department, participated in the training.

Border inspection is an administrative management activity conducted by the state through border inspection agencies at open ports to legally inspect and supervise the transportation tools and the luggage, goods, etc., carried by inbound and outbound personnel. At the meeting, the director of the border inspection and customs command center introduced the responsibilities of border inspection, the handling of border inspection documents, and the laws governing entry and exit management. They required all relevant personnel in the company to pay attention to border inspections for entry and exit, making it a key task after the port's opening; to respond actively, prepare carefully, and verify meticulously. They pointed out that customs supervision is to ensure that the national industrial support preferential policies enjoyed by ship repair enterprises are implemented in production, reducing production costs and enhancing the enterprises' competitiveness; it also maintains a fair import and export order, improves internal management levels, and promotes industrial upgrading. At the end of the meeting, participants asked questions on-site, and border inspection and customs personnel provided answers and clarifications.
