Therefore, after joint research by the technical backbone of the dismantling team, the person in charge of the dismantling unit, the safety and environmental protection department, the supervision company, and other relevant personnel, it was finally decided to dismantle it in a manner similar to tree felling: connecting a high-power winch with steel wire rope at the top of the derrick, then cutting off the bottom part of the derrick, and finally using the winch to pull it down. Once the plan was confirmed, all departments immediately arranged preliminary work,such as clearing obstacles, marking warning areas, etc. After all work preparations were ready, the Changhong3tugboat slowly moved, and the drilling platform was gradually laid down. The entire process was safe and rigorous, with no unexpected incidents.
