To enrich employees' cultural life, enhance their sense of collective honor, strengthen cohesion and centripetal force, cultivate corporate culture, promote the physical and mental health of employees, and provide a stage for basketball enthusiasts to showcase their youth, the company held the first "Changhong Cup" basketball competition at the No. 6 gate basketball court on October 7.
A total of 10 teams participated in this basketball competition, formed by various workshops and departments of the company, namely: Department Teams 1, 2, and 3, Production Teams 1, 2, and 3, Ship Repair Teams 1 and 2, Recycling Company Team, and Steel Structure Gas Team. The competition was divided into three stages: preliminaries, knockout rounds, and finals; with one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize set up to enhance employee participation enthusiasm.
The competition was passionate, with all participating teams promoting the spirit of "Friendship First, Competition Second," working together with one heart, showcasing excellent interceptions, brilliant passes, blocks, jump shots, dribbling, and long-distance shooting, providing the audience with a rich and exciting visual feast. The championship match unfolded between Department Team 2 and Production Team 1, with a lively atmosphere at the finals. During the match, players actively attacked, often pushing the atmosphere to a climax. Colleagues watching from the sidelines, though unable to participate directly, were also very engaged, cheering for both teams. After intense competition, Department Team 2, led by the company's technical department, won the championship with overwhelming momentum, while Production Team 1 took the runner-up position, and the Recycling Company secured third place.
This competition showcased skill, achieved results, and displayed style, fully demonstrating our Changhong International corporate culture and spirit of "Unity as One." The organizers and various departments cooperated actively, ensuring the smooth and successful conclusion of this basketball competition. Through this basketball competition, the mutual communication between departments became more frequent, and friendships deepened.
On October 21, after the event concluded, the winning units and players were beaming with uncontainable excitement. After the match, President Dai Jiming expressed his hope that Changhong would take this competition as an opportunity to fully apply the sports spirit from the court to work, making a positive contribution to the leap of Changhong International.
