President Xi Jinping had an inspection at Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard Co., Ltd.

        President Xi Jinping arrived in Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard Co., Ltd., accompanied by Xia Baolong, the Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC and other government officials on the afternoon of May 25, 2015.
Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard Co., Ltd. is invested by Jiangsu Xin Changjiang Group in 2010, which is located in Dinghai Industrial Park, Zhoushan Island with great advantage of geographical location. The total investment of the Industrial Park is about 6.7 billions RMB, covering an area of 4300 acres with coastline of 4500 meters. It is a unique shipping enterprise in world’s field that contains the whole shipping industry chain of shipbuilding, ship repairing and ship scrapping. Our company will make every effort to expand China's shipbuilding industry, thus contributing to the economic development of Zhoushan Archipelago New Area.
        President Xi has viewed and boarded the 300,000-ton dock platform to view shipbuilding operations and to understand the enterprise situation of production and technological innovation and other aspects. He appreciated our focusing on targeting the international market, exploring and making achievements in marine engineering and manufacturing, shipbuilding, ship scrapping, secondhand ship trading and metal resource recycling. He was mostly welcomed by the workers, which came to see and step forward to say hello while President Xi smiled and shook hands with them. He stressed that as long as the enterprise fill in the right market and configure all the various elements, such as capital, technology and management, they can totally catch up to build their own advantage in the fierce competition in the survival of the fittest. President Xi Jinping also encouraged Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard to seize opportunities in the international competition, to enhance the confidence, and then work hard ahead.
